Status Quo was the undisputed winner of the 2006 Oldenburg licensing. His sire Stedinger, also a Champion stallion in his day, goes back to the line of Besinda which is responsible for the licensed full brothers Andrew and Armagnac (successful up to Grand Prix) and Waldsee (a Champion stallion).

The dam´s sire Quattro sired World Championship and Olympic Game horses that competed in three equestrian disciplines: dressage, show jumping and eventing. The granddam Lady Madonna, Oldenburg Champion Mare in 1999, meanwhile competes in advanced (S) level show jumping. Quattro figures strongly in many of today’s top dressage competitors as well as show jumpers.

This is LANDOR S – 2nd dam’s sire to Status Quo

The sire of LANDOR S is the icon Landadel, who is responsible for a large number of champion stallions. Numerous top sport horses as well as the international show jumper Laertes and his full brothers, Landwerder and Lagoheidor, both successful in Grand Prix dressage, also come from this highly successful line.

With Argentinus, whose off-spring have won millions, the dressage horse maker Manstein, the French stallion Tiro, the Holsteiner Tin Rocco and the Thoroughbred stallion Kronprinz xx, the pedigree of Status Quo contains stallions that have written breeding history well beyond the borders of Oldenburg.

In 2007 Status Quo finished his stallion performance test with good results, taking fourth place overall with a score of 127.38. His first foals reflect the type and noble looks of their sire.
