Guatergold

2014 chestnut 170 cm

Quaterhit has 3 top quality gaits, charming type and athleticism. Quaterhit is out of a very interesting damline. The mother Poetin III is a full sister to the famous Poetin who won the world championships for 5-year old horses in 2003, she was also a double winner of the german Bundeschampionat. Poetin III combines Sandro Hit with Brentano II following a very long line of breeding from the State Stud Brandenburg and Berlin-Brandenburg.

His sire is Quatergold, a strong son of Quaterback out of a dam by the very venerable Brandenburg State Stud’s good sire, Paradiesvogel (Westfalen) and then down to strong Trakehner blood though Gelria (Kassio – Pindar). The line is further strengthened by the good old Hanoverian blood of Wenzel

This Brandenburg blood is particular cherished by breeders (myself included) for the generations of mutli-talented athletes that have been produced there, with the breeding goal always to produce all around athletes, strong, multi-talented for 3 day eventing as well as having supple movement and activity for dressage.
