REINA H

It was a wrenchingly sad day on July 17, 2010 when Antonio went out to feed and found dear Reina dead. It is one of those events that I will never get over, and I remind myself how blessed I was to have her in my life for as long as I did – and to have her two wonderful daughters Finale, and Dream Rubina to carry on her legacy.

There was not one day in her life when Reina was not a gracious, gentle and thoughtful lady, just like her mama, Helena. So, I will do use the genetics of her daughters to carry on the blood of Reina H and Helena.

Highlights of the year were that her handsome and strong son, SIRRINGO (by Sir Donnerhall) was permanently licensed by the German Oldenburg Verband after successfully completing his stallion performance testing. AND her grandson QREDIT (Quaterback – Dream Rubina) was licensed as a breeding stallion and is owned by Hilltop Farm, Md.

Reina H continues to be the cornerstone of
Yancey Farms’ broodmare herd.

"Reina H" (Rubinstein - Herbststurm - Pregel), bred by Yancey Farms with some of the first frozen semen of the immortal Rubinstein.

She has had eight foals; five fillies and 3 colts. ALL eight have been awarded PREMIUM STATUS by the German Oldenburg Verband!
This is an exceptional producing mare from a top
qualityTrakehner mare line.

Her dam, HELENA (Herbststurm – Pregel – Boris ) was an Elite Trakehner mare and the foundation mare of my breeding program back in 1977. Her mare line is well known for its strength, fertility and all around athleticism. One of Reina’s brothers ,the licensed stallion HARPER (by MAHON) was a top A circuit hunter some years ago. Another brother was the licensed Trakehner stallion HADRIAN.

Reina produces foals of beauty, suspension and free movement.
She has excellent mothering skills, and her foals grow up happy, secure and easy to train. In 2006, she had a black filly by
Furst Heinrich by embryo transfer. This filly, “Finale”, I have retained for my breeding band.

In 2008, she produced two foals via ET by the stallion QUATERBACK.
