This is just a special young mare. I purchased her from the Haupt Gestuet Brandenburg as a recently weaned baby. She was from the first foal crop of the exciting young sire, Quaterback. Both she and her sister, whom I also purchased, had been in the finals of the German Foal Championships.

She and her sister are the oldest offspring of Quaterback in the U.S. and the only ones under saddle. Her work under saddle has been nothing less than remarkable. She shows such suspension, suppleness, rhythm and a wonderful, wonderful willingness to work.

I bred her last season as a 3 y.o., and she is due to foal late Feb. to the super riding horse maker, Belissimo M. I am having a hard time deciding what to do next, and am leaning towards not breeding her back so that she can continue her work under saddle. I predict a stellar career for her.
