Fürstenreich is the ultimate text book example of type. He is blessed with all attributes that make him “King of the Ring”: a correct conformation, three exceptional, light footed basic gaits, and willingness to work. His sire Florestan I is the most wanted foundation stallion for NRW Breeding. Dam sire Matador is the exemplary model of post-war Trakehner breeding and was the DLG-Champion in Munich. Westfalian performance sires Apart and Damhirsch are in the third and fourth generation of Fürstenreich’s pedigree. Fürstenreich completed his 30-day test in 2001 with outstanding results. He was the winner of numerous riding horse tests and dressage horse tests from L to M-level. In 2003 and 2004 he qualified for the Bundeschampionate with high notes. Furthermore, he was a finalist at the 2004 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses in Verden. He currently is a highly successful international Prix St Georges-Intermediaire I horse. His first crop of foals was convincing in all aspects. He is the sire of several Champion Foals at regional and provincial breed shows and championships. They all dazzled with their outstanding type and excellent movements. On several occasions, his offspring were sold at foal auctions in North Germany, achieving top knock down prices. A Fürstenreich filly became British National Champion in the 3-year old mare division. |
