Obelisk – Olivi - Fruhling

Astrix is TWO TIMES World Champion of Young Dressage Horses. The windy and troubled weather did not upset him at all and he impressed with his incredible devotion, obedience and alertness. He always showed a fantastic competition mentality. Even under pressure, Astrix's performance is steady.

As a 5-year-old he earned the fantastic mark of 9.18 at World Championships final. He received 9.3 for the walk and 9.5 for the expressive trot with so much activity. 8.9 for canter and 9.3 for the general impression made the performance perfect - The jury referred to Astrix as "a horse to dream of".

The following year Astrix repeated his triumph. He got 8.7 points for his performance at the Big Final and became World Champion of the 6-year-old Dressage Horses at Verden 2011.

Astrix' sire Obelisk competed in dressage up to Prix St. George. He has numerous offspring at the national dressage level. His son Tango is successful at Grand Prix.

Dam sire Olivi was placed in Grand Prix as well. He produced several licensed stallions and horses successful up to Grand Prix level.

The dam line springs of the mare Lady Réveil van Wittenstein by E. van Binsbergen from Zoelen. There is for example the Grand-Prix-horse Jasper out of this line.

In the third generation Astrix has the successful Dutch blood of Jazz.
